GW Staff Council
The GW Staff Council was formed with the support of former University President Mark Wrighton to represent the voice of GW staff and to form new or add representation to existing committees, working groups, and programming, as well as, to create a community for staff that is inclusive, safe, and supportive.
The Staff Council was formed based on a mission, goals, and bylaws written by the Staff Council Committee. These will be the foundation of the council. Learn more about our current priorities here!

Committees
Staff Council standing committees are charged with improving staff quality of life in relavent, highly impactful areas. The four standing committees are:
- Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee
- Staff Support and Well-Being Committee
- Staff Development & Recognition Committee
- Staff Experience Committee
Elections

Staff Council terms are one year. They begin on January 1st and conclude on December 31st.
